‘Whatever you decide to do, make sure it makes you happy’.

Happiness is a very relative term. It is such a relative term that it changes for the same person every minute when something changes in the life. Happiness is subjective. While others will say that success, wealth, and beauty do not define what happiness really is, for some people, those are everything they need. Hence, you can’t really impose on what makes people happy. If it’s a not a fleeting feeling of pleasure but a lasting source of joy and contentment, then that might be your true happiness. Here are some ways to help you find pure joy and genuine happiness in life.

· Appreciate the little things.

Sometimes, you may be too caught up in finding happiness that you tend to overlook the simple things in life that can actually make you happy. Isn’t it wonderful that you’re still breathing? Isn’t it great to see the sun rise and set? Learn to appreciate the things that you have. If you develop the attitude of being grateful, then it will be easier for you to find true happiness in life.

· Be truly happy for other people.

Once you’ve conquered the green-eyed monster, it will be easier for you to be genuinely happy for other people. Remember that one’s success is not your failure. If your best friend just got promoted or got the chance to study abroad, be truly happy for him or her. You will get there; you have your own time zone.

Life is all about be happy and healthy.

· Focus on what you can do.

While there are some things that you can’t change, there are so many things that you can do. Focus on them. Do you want to get the highest possible rank in the company you’re working for? Then, work hard for that goal. Have a good work ethic. Seek for self-improvement. Want to lose weight? Then, do something about it. Challenge yourself. Stay determined, dedicated, and disciplined.

· Imagine the best.

Don’t be afraid to look at what you really want and see yourself getting it. Many people avoid this process because they don’t want to be disappointed if things don’t work out. The truth is that imagining getting what you want is a big part of achieving it.

· Push yourself, not others.

It’s easy to feel that someone else is responsible for your fulfillment, but the reality is that it is really your charge. Once you realize that, you have the power to get where you want to go. Stop blaming others or the world, and you’ll find your answers much sooner.

· Be open to change

Even if it doesn’t feel good, change is the one thing you can count on. Change will happen, so make contingency plans and emotionally shore yourself up for the experience.

· Listen to your heart.

You are the only one who knows what fills you up. Your family and friends may think you’d be great at something that really doesn’t float your boat. It can be complicated following your bliss. Just be smart, and keep your day job for the time being.
